Do you feel the change?

Have you noticed changes in the natural environment around you? Have you observed changes in weather conditions? If yes, then you are experiencing climate change firsthand. This climate change can be attributed to human activities. All the life-supporting elements of nature's ecosystem like air, water, soil, river, ice caps, and forest have degraded.

We are

Running out of time!

The planet is hotter by 1.19 degrees centigrade, and the average global temperatures are rising. This global warming is leading to repercussions such as rising sea levels, heatwaves, cyclones, floods, droughts, and forest fires are ever-increasing, leading to negative implications for humans. UN Secretary-General Antonia Guterres says, ‘this is code red for humanity. We must combine forces now to avert climate catastrophe.’ We have only 7-8 years before the global temperature touches the 1.5℃ mark.

Climate clock shows how much time is left before we touch global warming of 1.5oC (as per the current rate of carbon emission). At this temperature the climate change starts to become irreversible.

What is

ARE Conference?

The climate agreements, conferences, deliberations, and devising frameworks started as early as 1998 with the Kyoto Protocol, up to the Paris Agreement in 2015, but unfortunately, climate change is still accelerating at an unprecedented rate. Therefore, there is a need for a global platform, where people can discuss the pathways for restoring the climate and environment. The Action for Restoring Environment (ARE) Conference is going to bring together eminent leaders from different spheres to harmonise environmental conservation activities and to take concrete pledges to save the environment.

Who would benefit from

Participating in the ARE Conference?

Since everyone is a user of energy, everyone is a contributor to climate change, and therefore everyone needs to contribute to climate change mitigation. Anybody from any walk of life can attend the conference, particularly the following members:

  • Industries

  • Scientists

  • Academicians

  • Entrepreneurs

  • Government Officials

  • NGOs

  • Social Impact Makers

  • Students

  • Teachers
